Along Lee's path she always had people verifying she would make it as a singer. Lee's grandfather, a pastor, was where she received her gift to sing. Lee grew up listening to the greats like Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Al Jarreu, to Whitney Houston. Her father made her sing by age three in front of his clients and by this ripe age she knew she would be a professional singer one day.

By the time she won a national pageant she was singing at appearances across the country, to national television. This opened the doors for Lee, and gave her many opportunities to get recognized. It is obvious what a special talent Lee Christie truly is, 'My style is a wide range, but my favorite is a blend of Blues, Jazz, and R&B." Not only does Lee have an incredible vocal ability, she writes lyrics from the soul.

She is excited to go into the studio to work on a couple of different projects, and one close to her heart, a gospel CD to get her message across.
